2006

Well its here... And it came, oh so fast. It seemed like yesterday that Christmas was a month away. Now it is said and done and it is the beginning of a new year, almost. Just a few more hours.
I'm not going to be staying up to bring in the new year....To tired. Instead I'm going to write a little post and go to bead. Hubby is at work and I'm pooped. The past 4 days I've gotten up at 3 am, so that I could be at work by 4am. Now I've really started bakers hours. argh. In a way it is really nice... I'm home by 9 or 10 and have the rest of the day to do whatever. But then there is that whole lack of sleep thing. It's hard trying to go to bed early when you're use to staying up late.

Anyways... My knitting has suffered from working more hours, I just haven't had the time. I've only knit once in the past 5 days. Before that I did finish the baby hat for the shop. I think it turned out really cute, but its kinda small. It will diffidently be for a 0-3 month old. Now I have to make matching mits.

The kids has a good Christmas, G had fun with the presents and L just loved the paper. They got to have Christmas twice. First at the In-laws then at my parents. Here is G drinking his hot cocoa out of the "special big boy cup" aunt Dawn gave him. He loves it! And L is holding her first baby doll. I was happy to find this one, it is just what I was looking for. There was lots more but I'm sure you don't want a list...

Santa brought me a book, it is pretty cool too. It has all different kinds of stitch patterns in it and how to design and knit your own sweaters. I've always wanted to knit myself a sweater but I've never found a pattern that I've absoutley loved. Now is my chance to make my very own!

I did however manage to use my new SWIFT and BALL WINDER!!! My in-laws did very well on my gifts... Thanks Hubby for giving them the idea! I also had time to dye my first skein of yarn with koolaid! It was fun, but It didn't turn out how I would have liked. I didn't expect much, this being my first time dying yarn. Practice makes perfect. The end product reminds me of a 6th graders tye-dyed t-shirt.... Anyways I'm going to dye another skein soon, hopefully this one will turn out better!

That's it for now... More later.

Have a happy New Year everyone! May it be filled with lots of knitting!

Christmas cookies!

This is what I've been up to the last two days! I almost didn't make any cutouts this year, but decided, last minute of course, that I needed to. The past few years I had gone over to my mothers house and made them there with her help, be it watching G or taking cookies out of the oven. But with both my mom and dad working so much we just didn't have time for it. So I took it upon myself to do them at my house. Thankfully the kids have been napping at the same time lately, and yesterday I was able to make and bake them, with help from hubby when he got off of the lunch shift from the restaurant. Then today I frosted them. I know it kinda looks like the Easter bunny threw up on my table, but I'd rather have a light colored cookie than a bright colored mouth. I had some frosting left over so I made some graham cracker sandwiches. Mmmm Christmas... Time to eat way too much sweets. Its a love and hate relationship.

Today I also made these cute little things. They are for my parents and the IL's for Christmas. We also made one set for us to keep. They turned out so cute! It was pretty hard to paint L's hand and get it in the correct spot... But I think it turned out great. Mom and dad, if you see this before you get them, sorry. But it is just too hard to wait until after Christmas to post pictures about all the things I've been up to.

I finished my second panta. This time I held the yarn doubled. I also took advice from Amy and slipped the first stitch on each side and it fits so much nicer. This one covers my ears completely and its so warm. I love it! I could see doing some in different colors in cascade 220 or something like it. For those of you who haven't gone and checked it out... Your missing out. It knits up in a day or so and is such an easy and fun knit.

I've made a tiny bit of progress on a baby hat sample for the shop. Not too much but I'm sure I'll have some down time over the next week.
Merry Christmas to all !

Little bit of everything

Last night was our church's children's Christmas Service. This is a picture of G and his Sunday school classmates singing. They are the 2 & 3's. They did better than I thought they would. I help out once a month in their class and it was so funny to see them practice their songs. They started out with Away in a Manger, then The B-I-B-L-E, followed by Jesus Loves Me. Not many of them sang, but for 2 and 3 year olds I was impressed. G flashed everyone his tummy mid- manger song. And he shouted out "Bible" a bit later than everyone else, it was very cute. Also he held his arms up making muscles during the strong part of Jesus Loves Me. I'm such a proud mommy! Oh yeah, he is the one on the far right (striped sweater on). Sorry for the bad picture, My camera only has digital zoom, and we were kinda far away. Bummer, I know.

While at my grandmother's house over T-day week I found these cool old tins full of cinnamon sticks. I'm going to use them for my knitting notions. The really old one (Ann page) now is holding my self made stitch markers. I'm not quite sure what the others will be for but I'm sure I'll find something. If you click you can see that they only cost $1.49, wowee, that's cheap!

Ok Just now I found my son looking like this. That is what I get for putting on a veggie tales just so I can blog. Bad mom, bad bad mom. It is diaper cream... So maybe it will just put some moisture into his cute little cheeks! He is only 2 1/2, and boys will be boys. They seem to get into everything. Except my knitting. I've drilled him about that. No no, that's mommy's knitting, don't touch. Thankfully he understands;-) (Please avert your eyes from the mess in the background... It will get cleaned up after nap time! )

On knitting news, I've finished two hats out of cascade 220. I love the way they turned out! I can't show them to you yet... But in a week I will. They are both of my own design, and I'm quite proud of them.

I sure would like a real swift and ball winder... This is what I'm working with. Two chairs and my good old hands. I like the look of a hand wound center pull ball but when you have over 15 different balls to wind, it gets old. Maybe I'll get a swift and winder for Christmas, one can only hope. And here is the end product. G thought it was pretty cool watching me make a ball out of yarn. He kept saying mommy mada ball, ball.

Last week, Friday I went out to the yarn shop to pick up some of that cascade I made one of the hats out of... Anyways I came back with a bit more than I was originally going to get. I bought the fiber trends felted clog pattern and some cascade. I also took some Jaeger Baby Merino home to make some sample hat and mits for the shop. Baby hats knit up so quick and I love making them. I'll post pictures of my progress as I get going on them.

Also my niece Lilly was over and she had her hat that I made for her on so of course I took a picture of her in it. The last pic of the hat, G was modeling it so it only seemed fair to put the recipient's picture on my blog. Yes I'm sorry you probably are sick of all my pictures, but I just love them!

What's a blog without pictures?!

Enough is enough. Happy knitting everyone!

camera, tree, panta & gifts

I found my camera! I was totally freaking out last night. All is well now:-) Oh yeah, it was in the sofa... Where else would it be?! Duh.

I can show you all pictures of our little tree. There are no ornaments on yet I figured I had to wait for hubby for that. I think he was a little upset that I put the lights on without him. In my defense, both kids were napping at the same time! Hello, opportunity doesn't knock all day long. So i went for it! The tree isn't but two inches taller than G, and I put two strands (i think 100) of lights on it. One strand of clear around the middle and color on he outside. I get a bit obsessive when it comes to Christmas lights. I might have a tiny case of OCD. You could say I'm a bit of a perfectionist. Our tommy loves the tree. Last year he camped out under it until we therw it out!

Well I sent out my secret pals last package on Monday and she received it yesterday! Her name is Colleen and I had so much fun spoiling her. The funny thing is that she was my sisters last secret pal. Anyways go and check her out, she is a very cool and talented knitter!

To prove how small of a blogging world it is, my bloggin friend Christy had my real life friend Amy as her secret pal. How bazaar.

Other news.

My first panta is done. I think the next one I make I'll double the yarn to make it more weather worthy, and I'll make it shorter, it isn't that snugg. Also my edges aren't as tight as I would like them to be. Other than that its great! I uses Classic Elite's Inca Alpaca. It didn't even use the whole skein(109 yards, 50 g)! Actually I bought this yarn a few months ago (on clearance) when our local craft store was going out of business. Originally it was going to become a sweater, but now I've decided that it will become my winter accessories. I'm also planning on buying a new winter coat from Lands End, I'm still not sure. Maybe we'll see what Santa brings me this year:-)

I almost forgot. About a week ago I received a wonderful package from my brother. He is in Korea at the moment. He sent me a beautiful painting that was rolled up like a scroll. The monkeys are fitting for two reasons. My grandpa use to call me little monkey and Jared(my brother) use to call me monkey girl. Though I'm not sure why. Still it brought tears to my face when i opened it. There were two boxes in the package, that contained the most beautiful set of chop sticks. This package was unexpected and wonderful, thanks bIg bRo! I loved it!

Tonight is knitting at the LYS! I love knitting night.... Hopefully the roads will be drivable.

Happy knitting to all and to all a knitting night!

Panta anyone?!

I came across this fabulous knit! I'm so very excited about this. A panta-along is being put together(by rainberryblue)... Go check it out and see if it interests you. This is going to be perfect for me because I always wear my hair up in a bun, hats just don't work. I have already started it, well actually I have it completely knit up and all I need is to seam it up. I knit it in one day, it goes very quicklyy. Once I finish it I'll post pictures.

This is one thin
g I didn't even mention until now, a baby hat my sister Dawn. A friend of hers just had a little girl. L is modeling it. As you can see it's too small for her, which is good. She is almost 9 months old, and I want it to fit a newborn. It was put in the mail on Monday along with my final package for my secret pal. Yes I know, the deadline was the 4th.... I'm a bad sp. But hopefully she wont mind.

It is quite frightful outside today. They say we are going to get 8 inches of the white fluffy stuff by tonight... I love snow
. Well actually i hate driving in it and cant stand when its melting and all slushy. But when it is snowing it is one of the most beautiful things God has given us. G made his first snowman today. Of course he had some help from daddy and mommy. He also insisted on wearing his sunglasses that only have one lens. He is such a silly little boy. Lately he had been such a sweetie and we laugh and have tons of fun together.

Oh yeah, we finally got a Christmas tree. That was on Sunday, and I just put lights on it today. We have a little one so we could put it on top of an
end table. That way L can't get into it too much. Oh how I love the smell of a good Christmas tree.... and sweets....

Today I made buckeyes. So many people have posted recipes on their blogs, I think its about time I post one. So here you go.

Buckeyes:

1 lb peanut butter
1 lb confectioners sugar
1/2 lb graham crackers
1/2 lb butter or margarine
1 tbs vanilla

Crush graham crackers fine. Mix all ingredients together. Roll into small balls. Chill(I like to put them in the freezer).

Melt (double boiler works best):
18 oz. Chocolate chips
1/5 bar of paraffin wax (canning wax)

Dip the chilled balls into the mixture, holding by toothpicks. Put balls on a cookie sheet covered with wax paper. Best when served from refridgerator.

Enjoy!

I had some left over
chocolate and dipped bananas and pretzels in it(not together, separately). Yummy!

Last week I learned a new technique. The tubular cast on. What a cool thing it is! It makes the most polished looking cast on I've ever come across. If you haven't tried it I suggest you do! Just look at it! Very cool! Go ahead and click on the pic. Get a closer look.

Ok well I wanted to post a picture of my tree but I've misplaced my camera. I'm kinda freaking out, were could it be? It will turn up eventually, until then, no tree pictures or any others for that matter. AHHHH

Knit happy everyone!

What picture?

So for my solid sock along I need to pick the coolest photo ever to enter so I can win a prize (yarn for my stash of course). I'm not too creative but I thought this was cute. What do you think? Or should I do something completely different?! Comments are welcome. Good, bad and ugly;-)

Help Me Win!

Knit Happy!

*edit*
I know you can't really see the socks too well... does that matter?! Does the cuteness out rule that fact? Or because it is a sock contest not a baby contest, should I pick a picture that really shows off the socks? What to do.... I'm sure I'll think of something. Thanks in advance
for your advice!

I'm back!

We went on a nice vacation all thanks to modern technology! Travel sized DVD players. Mom, Dad, how in the world did you travel with out it? With five kids!? You must have been crazy;-)

We all had a great time! I got to see my sister and her family, and we met for the first time Bella. What a sweetie! She warmed up to us rather quickly, and wanted to be held. And Madison has gotten so tall since we last saw her. She is now in school, and is learning to read! It was great visiting with everyone. We even saw family from my dads side of the family and my moms side. One of my Uncles rented a house for all of us, and I think there were 19 of us in the house at one time. It was so much fun. There was a hot tub right outside of the house. It was really cool to be able to sit outside and see the beautiful snowow still while being toasty warm!

(Uncle Tom, with Bella and Leah)

We had a slight change of plans, and decided to go from Oakland MD to Buffalo NY. My dads side of the family lives there. My Aunts boyfriend of 20 yrs (not quite my unclee, but we still knew him very well) passed away the Friday after thanksgiving. He had been sick and had many problems for years now, he was still young, only 65yrs old. It was a sad reason, but we got to visit all of my family, most of which hubby had never met. It was good to see everyone.

We drove back
on last Wednesday, and arrived home around 10 at night. One nice thing about all the driving was that I had a good amount of time to knit! I finished my leaf lace socks, and I'm very happy with them! The downside... It gets dark out by 5-o-clock. I felt like I was wasting precious knitting time while I was just sitting there in the huge van watching kid movies(too keep the boy happy). At one point I actually turned around to knit by the light of the DVD player. It wworked but it was really awkward, it didn't last for long. I decided that the next time I go on a long trip I'm going to buy a necklace that has a light on it, so I'll be able to knit in the dark.

Things have been busy since our return. Our church had a Christmas brunch where women decorate the tables and there's speaker afterwards. My friends and I decorated two tables, it was stressful but fun. The brunch was on saturday, so thursday and friday was busy with table stuff. because of course we are last minute kind of people;-) I haven't been able to keep up with all the chores, but I don't think I ever really did*grin* There is always so much to do and so little time. And then there is knitting:)

A few days ago I received a wonderful package from my secret pal! I had temporally forgotten about it. Secret pal... i don't have to call her that anymore, her name is Katie, go ahead and check her out! Ok are you back now?! Well she sent me tons of goodies. First of all she sent me some dye your own yarn, (worsted weight) and some kool-aid that I'm planning on making a Sophie bag out of. I'm really excited about that one! next are two skeins, in a beautiful cranberry color, of essential from knit picks. More socks! Gotta love that! Two candles, one french vanilla, the othere black cherry, both yummy smelling. Two cute little ceramic pumpkins, one of which broke on the way. Oh yes, and some chocolate covered potato chips, very very good. I advise you try some if you haven't had the pleasure:-) How could i forget. She was kind enough to send some gifts for the kiddos. Too sweet. For L, a musical crawl-along. And for G the ever popular Little People. They both loved their gifts! Thanks Katie, you rocked! You can be my secret pal anytime!

Knitting Updates:
I Almost for got. I started a new pair of socks, out of some Opal hubby gave me for our anniversary. For this pair I tried a new method, toe up. Allena showed me while we were up there. She even taught me how to crochet! How cool is that?! I made s dishcloth out of some orange cotton yarn we found in my grandma's attic. Allena and I searched through the attic for knitting stuff and found a few things. I got a couple crochet hooks and a circular needle, with the old package and everything! The circular needle still had half a dishcloth on it:-) I Also started my manos throw... I think that's it!

Happy knitting!

My very first KAL!

I did it! I joined a KAL. It is for knitting a pair of solid color socks before the first of the year. Image hosted by Photobucket.com Here is the button! I'm so excited, I have always been envious of all the KAL's out there. Now I am a part of one yippee! Little progress has been made on the sock though. I'm starting to freak out, we are leaving early on wed morning and I still have to pack... I just started a list today... I'm such a last minute person. Ahhhh. Wish me luck:-)

Saturday, November 19

Here we go!

Wow thanks Allena! I always saw that button and was to afraid to use it. he he How silly of me. So here it is, my first leaf lace sock! I really like how it turned out! Also i like the length of it. I know because the night i finished it I wore it around the house. Anyways i like the length because it isn't tall enough to slouch down. I have that problem with my very first pair of socks. Wait a second they are my only pair of socks. Not for long! *grin* he he. So I've been pluggin away at the second one and hopefully it will be done soon. In a few days or so. Then i'm going to start another one:-) I think I'm going to pick a

pattern out of the oh so cool book, my super cool secret pal gave me! It has so many cool patterns. I'm not sure how I can just pick one! Maybe I'll just have to knit them all someday:-)

Ok so I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to post anymore, I will try. The reason being that I am going on vacation! yippie! My family and I are traveling with my parents and lil bro to go visit my sister Allena (and her fam), and my grandma, whom I haven't seen in over two years. G was a baby the last time we saw her. Now she can meet L! Also I get to meat booty, Allena's youngest! She is 1 year old and we haven't met her yet:( I can't wait though, very exciting! Also we haven't seen her hubby in over two years:( him being in Iraq and all. I'm just thankful that he is safe and sound living with his loving family again!

My parents are renting a 15 passenger van to cart us all down there. They said it will be about 13 hours of driving, maybe more. Ugh. I'm a little worried about G & L and how they will do in the van. We are borrowing a portable DVD player to keep G occupied in stressful times. All I ask for is prayer, seriously. I think that is the only way to go. And L is so active now, hopefully she will adapt and sleep a good portion of the way. One can only hope!

I also excited for all that driving time, that means knitting time! I really need to decide what projects I want to bring, I should be finished with the leaf lace socks before we leave. Oh BTW we leave early on Wednesday. Should I start the manos throw? More socks? Some face washcloths? A hat for lil bro Trevor? Hat for big sis Dawn? Llama hat for G? (I had enough left over from hubbys hat).... What do you think?

FYI, hubby loves his hat. He took it deer hunting this past weekend and said that the only parts of his body that stayed warm was his head and ears. He now wants llama socks, for next year by the latest. And in three years he would like a whole body suit out of llama*grin* I said yes to socks and yeah right, good luck on the body suit.

Ok it is getting late and there is church tomorrow... Better get to bed!

Friday, November 18

Hello still won't work!

It really is making me mad. It says Network unreachable. Please check your internet connection and try again. I have no clue what that means. I think its working just fine. Oh well I'll have ot get someone experienced to come over and help me:) Or if any of you have any advise I'll gladly take it.

Well even though I can't put any pictures I'll tell you about my SP gift! I was so excited about it. She gave me Knitting on the Road By Nancy Bush. SO very cool! I'm in love with socks and cant wait to finish the socks I'm doing now and get started on a new pair. I'm almost to the heel of the second sock. Soon very soon I'll have lot of warm hand knit socks to keep me toasty this winter.

Speaking of winter... We had our first snow Wednesday...Not enough to cover the ground with a beautiful blanket of white fluffy, but it was still snow. I can't wait to see the first day of snow covered everything. It is one of the most beautiful things, to wake up in the morning and the sun coming up to a blanket of whiteness. I love it. Plus it really feels like the holiday season when there is snow everywhere. I love Christmas time!

So for the last few days to a week L has been boycotting her mashed, solid food. She use to be a "healthy" eater. Ok she was a little piggy. She would eat lots and lots. Well she has only wanted to nurse for the past few days and I couldn't figure out why. She would hit the spoon away and spit out anything I actually got into the mouth. I even gave her own spoon so she could "help". Nothing seemed to work. Today my mom (and sister) suggested to give her soft solid chunks of food. So tonight I gave her little pieces of carrots and some peas. The look on her face was priceless. I'm positive she just wanted to be a "big girl". Her little smile was so cute when I gave her food like ours. She really is growing up. I don't think she actually managed to get any down, she just chewed on it about and then it just popped out. I think she was trying to use her teeth but can't seem to figure out the closing the lips and chewing at the same time. I think I'll roast some squash in tiny little chunks tomorrow. We'll see how that goes.

On the knitting front I started a flower wash cloth form Weekend Knitting. I'm using the cotton chenille that Diane sent me. Thanks Diane! Also I'm on a yarn diet. We found out that Hubby needs some dental work done (a root canal and all his wisdom teeth need to be pulled) and we don't have dental insurance. Sometimes I really hate his job. Its a love hate relationship. Ugh. I was planning on making the in laws some felted slippers but now I just cant. Its really nice that they are interested in my knitting though. At first they teased me about it and now they are putting in orders. I think I'm going to ask MIL if she would mind paying for the yarn... We will see. That's reasonable right?!

Its nearing bath time, the kids love bath time, they're such a hoot in the tub! I love that they have each other to play with. I'm glad they can have a sibling like I did. Its a great thing to grow up with!

Hello is making me mad.

I was going to show you pictures of my sock... The first one is done! Yipie! But hello/picasa for some reason wont let me. It keeps saying to check the connection to the internet. But obviously its working because I'm blogging. I've never had problems with it before now. Anyways... Oh my goodness I almost forgot. I also got a package from my secret pal... But I'll wait to tell yall what she sent until I can post pictures. Let me just say it is really cool! Ok well I'm going to start my second sock... I think I'm becoming a sock monster;-)

Happy knitting to all and to all a good knit!

Progress

I've made some progress on my socks. Yes they are for me! I'm excited about them and I find my self wanting to have tons of hand knit socks in my wardrobe. I better get those needles movin:-)

Today was a day for laundry, lots of laundry. How much can four people make?! Even when two of them are quite small... Tons of laundry. The thing that gets me is L has so much and she is the smallest of us all. How can that be? i now have a load of pink. Between she and i there is always a load of pinks. I usually have whites, lights, darks, jeans/hubby's work pants, towels, and now pinks.... It feels good to get it all done, have a clean house, and somewhere in between cleaning and laundry(and the kids) there is knitting. L is to the point now where she goes off and plays by herself for a bit. Its nice that I don't have to entertain her at every moment of the day. She's not a little baby anymore.

I also had time to go through some of G's clothes. Let me explain. My SIL gives us her sons old clothes. It is very nice because I've not had to buy him anything lately. The bad thing is that she is a shop-aholic. Seriously... She has been giving me stuff for a while now(2yrs), and I thought that was a lot. He has plenty of clothes, enough that I wouldn't need to do laundry, for him, for at least a month. No lie. Well a few weeks ago she came over with an additional 4 boxes of clothes, plus another box of just shoes... Just shoes. The kid is a boy, not a teenage girl that needs 10 pair of shoes to go with different outfits. Then yesterday she calls me asking if I needed more?! Hello, G could wear things once and still not wear everything she gave us before he grows out of it. So I kindly told her we had plenty, and to take it to goodwill. That was another thing I was doing today, picking out my favorite outfits. The rest will eventually make their way to goodwill. I joke with her and my MIL that if they give me anything else, they better buy me a bigger house to put it all in. In reality I'm not joking.

Ok the purpose of the story was to seg-way to this:

I found some of G's old shoes. And although I wanted to keep them, I just took a picture and put them in one of the many boxes deemed for goodwill. I was proud of myself of being very clean sweepish:-) I can't stand clutter, and decided to do something about it.

here is L and a close up on her two teeth. (You know you can click on pictures to see them better:)

happy knitting everyone!

Introducing my...

Leaf lace socks:
This is my progress so far on my sock. I'm really excited to be knitting a lace pattern. I'm using the sock yarn and pattern my secret pal gave me in my first package! Its pretty easy so far. I am going to change the pattern a little, and do a short row heel instead of a heal flap. Only because that is what I know. Not much knitting content, just thought you'd like to see what I've been up to. Its kinda been a busy and boring week all at the same time.

How about that

You Are A: Monkey!

You are least like a: Turtle or a GroundhogDiscover What Cute Animal You Are!

Presents

Note to Allena: I don't expect you to respond to the tag any time soon. Why, because she had just recently moved back to the states and is looking for a house. All the while living with her in-laws. I'm not sure how much on-line time she is allowed. So that being that, I don't expect anything out of her soon. Hope the house hunting is going well! Everyone else, go check out her blog and see the felted crocheted bag she is selling(finished bags and the pattern). I might have to learn how to crochet. If only I had the time:)

On to other news.

These are the wonderful things Hubby gave to me on our anniversary:

First of all is the Weekend Knitting book. I love this book and had borrowed it from a friend for a while. After returning it I wanted to own it myself. I have already started a project out of it:) Second is the Four Seasons Throw book, and a skein of Manos del Uruguay.

Isn't Manos lovely?! It is kettle dyed by women in Uruguay, no dye lots, each is unique. I can't wait to get started on this. This will be an ongoing project. I'm planning on doing one square a month and by this time next year I'll have a beautiful Manos throw to cuddle up under when its cold. I also look forward to knitting it on chilly nights during this winter.

He also got me a skein of Opal. Its a machine washable wool, I plan on making socks with it. I'm going to exchange it for a different color. Not that I don't like it, but my secret pal just gave me some pink sock yarn. I was so surprised that he bought all of this for me, I did have a wish list, but I wasn't expecting this much. What a sweetie!

Here is the gift i made for him:

A hat made out of llama. When I first started this knitting addiction of mine, he always said that he wanted something made out of llama. (Since the LYS has 36 llamas on the property.) Its on the expensive side, so I just brushed it off. Lately he has been wanting a new hat, and I thought this would be a perfect time to make him his article out of llama. It will be nice and warm this winter!

I thought I'd throw in some cute pictures of L.

Here she is "walking" and being silly. She has such a personality. This next one I love.

She was having a blast looking at me, then looking at me on the reflection of the dishwasher. It went on for a good 5 to 10 minutes. So funny.

Ok more knitting content.

This is the hat I made for my niece Lilly. She wont keep it on to long yet so I had G model it. What a good sport! I love the pink and brown look, again it is my own design. I'm hooked on the 3x1 rib and cute elf-like top.

That's it for now, happy knitting to all!
