Christmas cookies!

This is what I've been up to the last two days! I almost didn't make any cutouts this year, but decided, last minute of course, that I needed to. The past few years I had gone over to my mothers house and made them there with her help, be it watching G or taking cookies out of the oven. But with both my mom and dad working so much we just didn't have time for it. So I took it upon myself to do them at my house. Thankfully the kids have been napping at the same time lately, and yesterday I was able to make and bake them, with help from hubby when he got off of the lunch shift from the restaurant. Then today I frosted them. I know it kinda looks like the Easter bunny threw up on my table, but I'd rather have a light colored cookie than a bright colored mouth. I had some frosting left over so I made some graham cracker sandwiches. Mmmm Christmas... Time to eat way too much sweets. Its a love and hate relationship.

Today I also made these cute little things. They are for my parents and the IL's for Christmas. We also made one set for us to keep. They turned out so cute! It was pretty hard to paint L's hand and get it in the correct spot... But I think it turned out great. Mom and dad, if you see this before you get them, sorry. But it is just too hard to wait until after Christmas to post pictures about all the things I've been up to.

I finished my second panta. This time I held the yarn doubled. I also took advice from Amy and slipped the first stitch on each side and it fits so much nicer. This one covers my ears completely and its so warm. I love it! I could see doing some in different colors in cascade 220 or something like it. For those of you who haven't gone and checked it out... Your missing out. It knits up in a day or so and is such an easy and fun knit.

I've made a tiny bit of progress on a baby hat sample for the shop. Not too much but I'm sure I'll have some down time over the next week.
Merry Christmas to all !

Oh I want some of those cookies! They look so yummy, easter bunny or not. Now I wish I had baked our cookies instead of eating all the dough before a single cookie made it to the oven. Your panta looks great too.

I started a panta the other day before my puking adventure. I think I'll be able to finish it today! Yours looks great!

Yummy cookies. That's what we are doing today. (Cause we just didn't have enough for Santa, even though we know he's not real, he still might want to eat them..hehe). I'm starting to think I do need to make a panta. Yours look so nice and warm.
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
